Citizenship & Science Academy of Rochester Atoms Learn the True Meaning of Friendship Through MLK's Famous Speech

Tuesday, January 17th, 2023: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr had a dream that everyone could be friends. In honor of MLK Day, students watched videos and read a story about the life and legacy of Dr. King. Atoms learned the importance of kindness and friendship through the famous "I Have A Dream Speech." They also had the opportunity to write and draw about the meaning of friendship and how they can be a good friend to their peers.
