CSAR 4th Graders Explore Life Cycles at Strong Museum of Play

Learning Combined with Play During Citizenship & Science Academy of Rochester's Field Trip

Friday, January 31st, 2025: Citizenship & Science Academy of Rochester students had the exciting opportunity to visit the Strong Museum of Play, combining learning and fun in an unforgettable experience!

One of the trip's highlights was visiting the Butterfly Garden, where students deepened their understanding of life cycles as part of their ongoing science unit. In the garden, they observed various stages of butterfly development, reinforcing concepts they’d been studying in class.

In addition to the educational experience, students had plenty of time to explore the museum's interactive exhibits, play games, and enjoy well-deserved fun with their friends. From hands-on activities to laughter-filled moments, it was a day of exploration, play, and learning.

Field trips like these provide invaluable experiences that connect classroom lessons to the real world, creating lasting memories for all involved. We look forward to more opportunities like this for our students to learn and grow in engaging and meaningful ways!
