CSAR 1st Graders Enjoy First Field Trip

Exploring Agriculture: CSAR First Graders Visit Stokoe Farms

Friday, October 24th, 2025: First-grade students at Citizenship & Science Academy of Rochester enjoyed an exciting and educational field trip to Stokoe Farms!

During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore the farm, meet the animals up close, and discover how farmers care for their crops and livestock. From feeding the animals to picking their own pumpkins, students experienced firsthand the important work that goes into running a farm.

The trip gave students a hands-on learning experience outside the classroom. First graders returned with new knowledge about farm life, the food chain, and a deeper appreciation for the hard work that farmers do.

It was a memorable day of exploration, curiosity, and discovery for our youngest scholars at CSAR!
